Gleichmann Hpe^®_midi was the most flexible FPGA and ASIC development system on the market. It replaces the Hpe^®_compact which has been available for the last 5 years. More and more modern interfaces as well as an excellent mechanical solution support applications in different environments. A lot of experiences and discussions with customers convinced us to deliver the development system in an enclosure. Nevertheless the system can be used open or closed.
The FPGA is integrated as of a mountable module. There are modules with one or two ALTERA Stratix II™ FPGA available. More than 1000 available user I/O’s per FPGA guarantee together with numerous on board interfaces high flexibility. Hpe^®_midi delivers a low cost environment, enabling the complete development of your system. In addition we can offer a large number of CPU and peripheral IP macros, based on our Free IP List. Furthermore the Hpe^®_midi board can be used as SEmulator, a new, efficient and very secure method for ASIC and FPGA development.
