Description


High Performance - High Speed - High End

The Hpe®_midiv2 is a powerful and extremely versatile mother board that can be equipped with various modules containing one or two FPGAs.
It can be extended via child board connector that allows interfacing to additional Hpe® _child boards.
The special Elastomer connectors used at the interface between the motherboard and the modules
allow for connections with very high frequencies and great pin numbers.

By now, the Hpe concept has been successfully since 2002. It renders the development and the
emulation of entire systems easy. To achieve that, the Hpe®_midiv2 has been conceived with
versatility and programmability in mind.

A so-called "clock factory" is responsible for supplying the board with on-board or external clocks
according to the user's wishes. To get maximum frequencies as high as possible, much know-how has been invested in the development of the board. Through the use of the ALTERA StratixIII FPGAs,
it is possible to integrate as much as 300,000 logic elements, which roughly corresponds to
3 million ASIC gates.

A wide range of software as well as a growing number of application examples allow for a fast implementation of your ideas.
