It is possible to add an existing IP to the AMBA IP manager. The application note AN-2-002 contains a detailed walk through about the necessary steps.

Functional description

To integrate an existing IP core into Hpe®_AIM a VHDL wrapper is needed to port the IP core’s interface to the Hpe®_AIM AMBA interface. Furthermore Hpe®_AIM reads all information about the IP core from the meta data stored in the wrapper.In the following you see an example of such a wrapper:
